Before You Apply
- You may earn up to 8-credits for summer study abroad.
- Programs must be at least 4 weeks long to be eligible for academic credit and at least 6 weeks long to be eligible for Harvard summer funding. Only students who receive financial aid will be considered for summer funding.
- You may earn credit toward your concentration, secondary field, language citation, language requirement, Divisional distribution, and/or electives.
- Courses taken abroad cannot fulfill General Education requirements.
- Rising Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors who are in good standing may study abroad.
- International students may not study abroad in their home country.
- All programs must be able to issue a formal transcript that includes course names, grades, and credits/hours earned.
- It is possible to study abroad for both a summer and a semester!
