Return from a Summer Abroad

Follow the steps below in order to have your study abroad credit transferred.

Request an official transcript

Once you have returned from your study abroad experience, be sure to request that an official transcript is sent to the following address:

Office of International Education

The OIE cannot provide you with copies of your abroad transcript. Be sure to request official transcripts for yourself as well for purposes of applying to fellowships, graduate school, etc

Schedule a Placement Exam

If you took a beginning language course abroad, schedule a placement exam.

Reach Out & Learn

If you are seeking language credit, reach out to the relevant language department to learn more about that process. The OIE does not advise on language citation.

Complete a Study Abroad Evaluation

These are invaluable to prospective study abroad students, so please take the time to complete an evaluation of your study abroad program or university.
