(Bhutan, Paro Valley) School for Field Studies: Himalayan Environment and Society in Transition

Through the School for Field Studies (SFS) Himalayan Environment and Society in Transition program, students will take a combination of courses on the political and socioeconomic dimensions of environment, mountain ecology, conservation, Bhutanese language and culture, and a semester-long directed research project. This is a field-based program, where your classrooms and labs are among Bhutan's valleys, meadows, forests, monastic communities and more.
