(Japan, Kyoto) Kyoto Consortium for Japanese Studies

Japan _flag shaded

The Kyoto Consortium for Japanese Studies (KCJS) draws on its 30+ year history and reputation, providing undergraduate students with a semester or academic year-long offering. Take courses in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences in a Japanese context, learn through integrated Japanese language and elective classes, and explore Kyoto and the surrounding region through the KCJS-organized field trips and excursions. Opportunities for community engagement exist through the Community Involvement Program, where you'll not only work within Kyoto but also further your language learning. You'll become even more immersed through your housing, whether you're living with a local family, in a dorm with Japanese students, or in an apartment with local neighbors.
