#  (Cuba, Havana) Consortium for Advanced Studies Abroad (CASA Cuba)

The Consortium for Advanced Studies Abroad program in Havana, Cuba ([CASA Cuba](http://lahabana.casa.education/)) provides undergraduate students from leading institutions with the unique opportunity to have direct access to Cuba's most prestigious institutions of higher learning, such as the University of Havana and Casa de las Américas, Cuba's premier research institution on Caribbean and Latin American studies, Cuban Culture and the arts.  
  
Prerequisites include six semesters of College-level Spanish or the equivalent.



 

 

##  Application Information 

- Students may only apply to one CASA program. *Students admitted to a CASA program are expected to accept the offer and withdraw any other study abroad applications.*
- Note that a B2 language level guarantees admission to CASA-Cuba until the program reaches enrollment capacity.
- **Please be prepared to upload the following supplemental materials to the application platform:**
    - personal statement to be shared with program director
    - a copy of your student record (unofficial transcript)
    - proof of a B2 (advanced) Spanish language level or higher (an email from a faculty member attesting to your B2 level is sufficient)
    - color copy of passport photo page
    - one passport-size digital photo
- You must complete both the CASA Cuba Application and *Request Course Approval*
