Welcome to Harvard College's annual International Photo Contest! Since 2004, Harvard College students have submitted photographs documenting their travels around the globe. See the collection of prize-winning images in our galleries and around the College and University!
All enrolled Harvard undergraduates who have studied, worked, interned, volunteered or completed research abroad during the academic year and summer are encouraged to submit their best photos in the following categories:
- Everyday Life
- Natural World/Landscape
- Architecture/Built Environment
Each student may submit up to two photos, which must be original material and taken by the student.
Photos are judged through artistic expression, creativity and originality, quality of image, and international content. OIE prizes are judged by Makeda Best, the Harvard Art Museums' Richard L. Menschel Curator of Photography; all other prizes listed below are judged by the Harvard office, international center or student organization sponsoring the prize.
Contest submissions will be accepted during fall term and winners will be announced at the annual International Photo Contest Reception in early February.
