Welcome to Harvard College's annual International Photo Contest! Since 2004, undergraduates at Harvard College have submitted photographs documenting their travels around the globe. See the collection of prize-winning images online.
All current Harvard undergraduates who have studied, worked, interned, or done research abroad during 2018 are encouraged to submit their best photos in the following four categories:
- Sense of Place/Culture
Photos taken prior to matriculation at Harvard or during a leave of absence are ineligible.
The photo(s) must be original material and must be taken by the student. Each student may submit up to two photos. Deadline for submission of photos is October 1, 2018. Click here to submit an entry.
OIE prizes for the four categories listed above will be judged by Makeda Best, the Harvard Art Museums' Richard L. Menschel Curator of Photography.
Photos will be judged based on the following criteria: artistic expression, creativity and originality, quality of image, and international content.
Contest winners will be announced at the International Photo Contest Reception which will be held on Friday, February (date TBA) from 2-3:30pm in the Forum Room, Lamont Library.
