The best time to start planning for study abroad is upon arrival to campus!  Planning takes time, and you want to be sure that you have plenty of it to research and apply to the best program for you.

To get started:
- Attend OIE Virtual Drop-In hours (Monday through Friday, 2:00 - 5:00 pm ET), or make an
appointment to discuss your ideas and plans with a study abroad staff member, a student
  adviser, or student ambassador

- Browse program options on the OIE's list of approved programs

- Speak with students who have participated on the programs that you are interested in

- Attend OIE information panels, programs, and events

- Meet with your Resident Dean, and concentration study abroad adviser to discuss how study
abroad will fit into your academic plan

- Understand the academic calendar of the programs that interest you
