#  (Sweden, Uppsala) Uppsala International Summer Session

During your time studying at Uppsala International Summer Session (UISS), you'll not only have the opportunity to improve your Swedish language proficiency in a Swedish environment, but you'll also participate in other courses, activities, and excursions that will inform you about Sweden's cultural, political, and social life. Through UISS, you'll have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the Stockholm-Uppsala region through the program's weekly field trips, as well as embark on new explorations to the Swedish Lapland and Finland during the longer overnight excursions. Students will earn 4 credits for a six-week session or 8 credits for a nine-week session. **Two- and three-week sessions alone are not eligible for transfer credit.**
