# (England, Cambridge) Pembroke Cambridge Summer Programme ![British flag](/sites/g/files/omnuum9021/files/styles/hwp_1_1__360x360_scale/public/2025-08/england_flag.jpg?itok=tICIF-17) The Pembroke Cambridge Summer Programme offers you the unique opportunity to enjoy small-group teaching in a beautiful and inspiring academic setting at one of England's oldest universities. At Pembroke, you'll enroll in courses in a variety of disciplines, exploring your subjects through lively and interactive discussion and debate. You'll live in Pembroke College housing, whether on campus or in a townhouse adjacent to campus, and have the opportunity to know other international and local students studying at Pembroke for the summer. ## Approved Courses and Credit Details Below, find the list of courses which have been pre-approved for *elective* credit. If you wish to have these courses count toward your concentration or secondary field you must have the appropriate [department advisor](/https:/oie.fas.harvard.edu/people/role/concentration-advisers) review the courses separately. If your concentration/secondary field department approves one course as fulfilling a concentration/secondary requirement, then your other course(s) must come from the list below. To earn the equivalent of two Harvard courses (8 credits), you must be enrolled in three courses (3-for-2); to earn the equivalent of one Harvard course (4-credits) you must be enrolled in two courses (2-for-1).
