# (Denmark, Copenhagen) DIS Copenhagen ![Danish flag](/sites/g/files/omnuum9021/files/styles/hwp_1_1__360x360_scale/public/2025-08/denmark_flag.jpg?itok=spJwz7F0) While in Copenhagen, your semester is structured around a Core Course system, where you will select one core course that defines your program of study. All core courses include two faculty-led Study Tours to help students apply classroom learning in new contexts. You'll round out your course load with a selection of over 300 elective courses. Choose from a variety of housing options, including living in a homestay, with local Danish university students, or living in a learning community of students with similar academic interests. Whichever you choose, you'll learn more about yourself, life in Copenhagen, and the importance of *hygge*!
