Asia Center - 

The Asia Center will not be offering grants this winter, but may be offering them for Summer 2021 with a rolling deadline. Check the Asia Center website for the latest updates.

Center for Middle Eastern Studies - 

Unfortunately, the AJ Meyer (Arabic language study), Rosovsky (research in Israel), and Arabian Peninsula (research in the Arabian Peninsula) fellowships are not available for January 2021. They may be available for summer 2021, depending on Harvard University guidance on international travel. Remote internships, language study, or senior thesis research are also not eligible.

Center for African Studies - 

David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies (DRCLAS) - 

  • Funding for Student Group & Organization Events related to Latin America & the Caribbean: Rolling deadline, monthly

  • Funding for independent Internships across Latin America and the Caribbean: Rolling deadline, monthly

Harvard Global Health Institute - 

The Harvard Global Health Institute (HGHI) offers returning Harvard undergraduates the opportunity to participate in paid summer research and internship placements on the Harvard campus as well as across the world. These opportunities are ten weeks long and connect classroom knowledge and skills to the complex issues in the field. They range from placements in laboratories and research groups, to field work with hospitals and community health clinics, to office-based internships with NGOs and international organizations. Students may also apply to HGHI for funding for their own projects or internships. The application deadline is currently set for Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 11:59pm. There is a possibility this deadline may be extended if the start of the spring semester is delayed. A determination regarding the spring semester start date is expected in December, so please check back then for updates.


Harvard Summer School Study Abroad - 

Funding for study abroad through Harvard Summer School is available from the Office of Career Services (OCS). The Summer 2021 funding deadline TBA.
