More About CASA Santiago

Through participating in the CASA-Chile program, you will take three to four university courses in addition to the required Proseminar, designed to help you improve your fluency in Spanish and complement your immersive experience through cultural visits, invited guest lectures, and other activities.

Prerequisites

  • Five semesters of college-level Spanish or the equivalent proficiency
  • 3.0 minimum GPA

Deadlines

  • For Fall study abroad: March 1
  • For Spring study abroad: October 1

Submit the CASA-Santiago Program Application and Materials

TheCASA-Santiago Program Application 

  • The application will ask you to upload the following supplemental materials: 
    • a copy of your student record (unofficial transcript)
    • proof of a B2 (advanced) Spanish language level or higher (an email from a faculty member attesting to your B2 level is sufficient) 
    • a resume
    • proof of health insurance (photocopy of your insurance card is sufficient)
    • color copy of passport photo page
    • one passport-size digital photo
